ANDERSON SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
UCLA Anderson School of Management is a prestigious business school known for its strong emphasis on leadership, innovation, and a globally-focused MBA program.
BOELTER HALL
Boelter Hall is an iconic building at UCLA, known for its role in housing the university's engineering programs and as the birthplace of the internet, where the first ARPANET message was sent in 1969.
BRUIN BEAR STATUE
The Bruin Bear statue, a beloved symbol of UCLA, was unveiled in 1984 as a gift from the UCLA Alumni Association to celebrate the university's 50th anniversary.
COURT OF SCIENCE
The UCLA Court of Sciences is a central hub on campus that houses many of the university's science and engineering departments, offering state-of-the-art facilities for research and education. It also consist of the Bomb Shelter which serves food and beverages to students.
DODD HALL
UCLA's Dodd Hall, an iconic building on campus, is home to the university's Film and Television Archive, and a fun fact is that it was the filming location for the classic TV show The Twilight Zone in the 1960s!
FOWLER MUSEUM
The UCLA Fowler Museum showcases a diverse collection of global art and cultural artifacts, with a fun fact being that it houses the largest collection of African art on the West Coast!
Inverted Fountain
The Inverted Fountain at UCLA, designed by artist and architect Phillip Johnson in 1966, is unique for its water flowing upward from a bowl-shaped basin, creating a striking optical illusion. This is also where newly admitted students are "Bruintized" and if they touch the water before they graduate, they will be cursed with another quarter here.
KERCKHOFF HALL
Kerckhoff Hall at UCLA is a historic building known for its iconic clock tower and role as a hub for student activities. It was also featured in the opening credits of the movie Legally Blonde and Oppenheimer, giving it a spot in Hollywood history.
PAULEY PAVILION
The iconic Pauley Pavilion at UCLA is home to the university's basketball teams, and it hosted the 1968 Summer Olympics gymnastics events, making it a historic landmark in sports.
POWELL LIBRARY
UCLA's Powell Library, known for its stunning architecture and rich history, was the place where Ray Bradbury wrote much of his iconic novel Fahrenheit 451 during late-night writing sessions in the 1950s.
ROYCE HALL
Royce Hall, a striking example of Romanesque architecture, is one of the most iconic buildings on the UCLA campus. Interestingly, it was inspired by a 12th-century abbey in France and is home to the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the university. One tower is taller than the other by one brick and is an example of imperfections across its entirety.
SCHOENBERG HALL
Schoenberg Hall is a renowned venue on the UCLA campus, primarily used for music performances and events. Interestingly, it is named after Arnold Schoenberg, a pivotal figure in 20th-century music, known for developing the twelve-tone technique.
FRANKLIN D. MURPHY SCULPTURE GARDEN
The Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden at UCLA is a beautiful outdoor space featuring over 70 sculptures by renowned artists such as Henry Moore and Isamu Noguchi. One of its most interesting features is a large, interactive piece by artist Robert Graham, which invites visitors to walk through and experience the work from multiple perspectives.
STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTER
The UCLA Student Activity Center is a bustling hub where students can engage in various recreational and social activities, from fitness classes to group study sessions. Upstairs, some NBA players have been spotted hooping in the gym prior to their LA games. This is also where Project Hope's office space resides.
UCLA STORE at ACKERMAN
The UCLA Store at Ackerman Union is a vibrant hub for students and visitors, offering a wide variety of UCLA gear, books, and essentials. Did you know it’s one of the oldest campus stores in California, dating back to the early 1900s?
